Gene Rothert, HTR is a registered horticultural therapist and owner of The AbleGardener™. An avid gardener himself, he is the author of The Enabling Garden: Creating Barrier Free Gardens (Taylor Press 1994) based on his own gardening experiences as a wheelchair user and the experiences of hundreds of other gardeners with disabilities.
Martha Tyson, MLA, BLA is a landscape architect and product designer for The AbleGardener™. Specializing in design for the elderly and people with special needs she is the author of The Healing Landscape: Therapeutic Outdoor Environments (Parallel Press, 2006).
